Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area is the closest ski hill to Boise, just 16 miles from the mountain's base to the top. Now, as the winter season is in its final weeks, you don't need to fret. There will still be plenty of skiing, snowboarding, attractions and events throughout the warmer spring months.
A unique feature of Bogus Basin is that they've been operating as a non-profit. Every dollar spent on lift tickets, attractions, lodging, and beer at the bar goes back into the mountain!
So as the weather gets warmer and the sun lingers in the sky a little longer, don't miss out on what's happening up at Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area!
Being a Non-profit Means More For The Mountain
Bogus Basin is committed and passionate about giving back to its amazing recreational community. Buy a beer in the lodge? Or a full-season pass? Every purchase made at the mountain goes directly back into supporting the services and events put on by Bogus. Funding snow school, search, and rescue, and fantastic staff and amenities.
Bogus Basin is just one of just a handful of non-profit recreation areas in the country, dedicated to our mission of providing accessible, affordable and fun year-round mountain recreation and education.
