A short 16.5-mile drive from Boise, the non-profit Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area is officially open and ready for another epic snow season! One of Boise's top year-round destinations, Bogus Basin is a winter hot spot for Idahoans and visitors.

Bogus Basin's Extended Night Skiing in Idaho

There is something special about seeing the bright lights of Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area from Boise, but to coast through it is even better. If you haven't tried night skiing/snowboarding up the mountain, this is the year to give it a shot!

If you have been night skiing in the past, we have an exciting update! Bogus Basin has added an extra hour of night skiing! Night Skiing now kicks off at 3 PM, giving you access to Chair 6 before it closes at 4:15 PM.

One of the best parts of night skiing — discounted rates! Not only are you getting a bonus hour, but night skiing is even more affordable!

Who can resist a breathtaking panorama of Idaho? Explore Bogus Basin and get the best view of Idaho. Hop on chair six, on the top of Pine Creek to get a 360 view of the Treasure Valley, Owyhees, and on a clear day, The Sawtooths.
