There’s a lot of fun activities that you can do together across the Treasure Valley. If they are the scientific type, the Discovery Center of Idaho is the place to learn. Nature loving kids will nerd out at the MK Nature Center as they look into real trout exhibits and try to spot the large sturgeon from the bridge. If laser tag, fast karts or big jumps are your kids' style, Wahooz Family Fun Zone, Altitude Jump Park and Fast Lane Indoor Kart Racing are all equipped with the gear to give them a thrill.

Amazing Playgrounds in the Treasure Valley
The Boise Parks system is proud to be a part of the America the Beautiful effort, seeking to conserve 30 percent of our land and waterways for future generations to enjoy. Our own Mayor, Lauren McClean, has made it her mission to assure there is a park no more than a 10-minute walk from any child's home. Together, the Treasure Valley has a unique set of parks that merge the traditional fun of playgrounds, while living harmoniously with acres of natural Idaho ecosystem.
But that’s not all. With the push to create great parks that compliment our landscape, Idaho has begun creating some outstanding free outside playgrounds. Here are some of the best playgrounds found across the valley that are sure to excite kids and kids-at-heart alike.
