Lost Shack Brings Local Favorites Lost Grove Brewing and Sushi Shack Together

Last updated August 25, 2020 by Tessa Bishop

If Boise’s favorite brewery and food truck had a baby well, you’d have Lost Shack. Located in Harris Ranch, Lost Shack is a collaborative restaurant between Lost Grove Brewing and Sushi Shack. Bringing delicious sushi rolls and craft beer to Harris Ranch, Lost Shack is a one-of-a-kind neighborhood hangout spot. Stop by to try hand-rolled sushi rolls and local craft beer all in one place. Lost Shack has weekly specials and is constantly creating new ways to eat sushi.

Craft Beer Meets Specialty Sushi

After years of working collaboratively at events throughout the Treasure Valley, Jake Black of Lost Grove and Dylan Cordry of the Sushi Shack join forces. Figuring the perfect combo is sushi and beer; this partnership seemed like a no-brainer.

Lost Shack has 8 beers on tap with 4-5 rotating beers. Each time you go, you’ll get the chance to try a new tasty beer from Lost Grove Brewing. If you feel like something different than beer, Lost Shack has other drink options, including wine, delicious sake cocktails, and kombucha.

Something Cordry, the owner of Sushi Shack, wants to stress for all sushi lovers is that sushi is easily customizable. Want a specific roll with a different style of fish? The chefs at Sushi Shack can do that for you! The team at Sushi Shack wants customers to have an incredible sushi experience, every time they come.

Totally Boise’s Top 3 Favorites

Each recipe at Lost Shack is made in-house by Chef Hiroshi Parrish, who loves mixing it up and is frequently creating new sushi rolls. A few of our current favorites included:

  • The Heavy Metal: Sushi Shack's 1st specialty roll - Smoked salmon, avocado & cucumber topped with tuna. Garnished with Krunch Krab salad, tobiko, cucumber, and three sauces.
  • Sassy Sis: Bestselling roll: Shrimp, tempura, and jalapeno. Topped with tuna, lemon, and avocado then garnished with cilantro, fir sauce, eel sauce, and sesame seeds.
  • The Islander Poke: Ahi tuna & fresh salmon mixed with mango, avocado, and cucumber.

If you’re feeling extra adventurous, we have the perfect dish for you to try, The Architect. This roll is the chef’s choice and not only changes daily but changes each time the Chef Hiroshi creates it, giving you the ultimate surprise roll.
