Boise fans love their homegrown sports teams. Between hockey, baseball and Boise State’s Broncos, sports lovers have teams to cheer on through each season!
After 23 years in downtown Boise, hockey season is no joke in Boise. You can expect CenturyLink to be packed at each game and the crowd to be rowdy! It’s the perfect family outing, guys night, girls night, or a date night. To truly become a Boise local, you have to experience at least one of these hockey games!
Steelheads games are typically held on Fridays and Saturdays. The team plays in downtown Boise in the CenturyLink Arena. The 5,000 seat arena brings a fan up close and personal with all the action. With ticket options being single-game, season tickets and plans it’s your choice how often you will see the Steelheads.

Something about enjoying baseball during a summer evening makes us so happy, especially when were cheering on the local Boise Hawks. The Boise Hawks are the baseball pride and joy of Boise and are the Northwest League affiliate of the Colorado Rockies. They offer family-fun at an affordable price!
Since 1989, Memorial Stadium has been home to the minor league baseball team. Memorial Stadium also occasionally hosts non-baseball events, such as concerts, but its primary use remains as host to the Hawks. We highly recommend spending an evening with your friends, family and loved ones supporting the hawks.
There’s even a program for Future Hawks that allows you little leaguer’s dreams of playing on the field come true!

The Boise State Broncos are certainly the most widely followed sports teams in the Boise area. Everyone in the city loves to support the local college by watching each of the Boise State sports teams.
The Broncos compete in the NCAA Division 1 level as a member of the Mountain West Conference. Boise State’s best known program is the football team who has won the Fiesta Bowl three times. Game days for the Broncos bring unparalleled excitement and enthusiasm throughout the city.
Other recognizable programs at BSU include the nationally ranked women’s gymnastics team, the men’s and women’s basketball team and the tennis teams which have continually had nationally ranked players.
