Paddy Day .5K

The Iron Horse Brewery is bringing the St. Paddy Day Half K back to Boise! “Yes. .5K. ⅓ of a mile- because running is hard.” Their goal is to raise $2,000 in two hours for the Idaho Foodbank. Even though the race only takes about 10 minutes, there will also be pizza, face painting, Zumba, and raffles! To get you warmed up and ready to run there will be a Celtic Rock Band performance!

No Pants Patty’s Block Party

No pants? Yep, you read right. This is the 7th annual No Pants Patty’s Day Block Party hosted by Amsterdam Lounge, China Blue Night Club, and Dirty Little Roddy’s. Celebrate the luck of the Irish in downtown Boise with drinks, dancing, and without pants! If you want to avoid the parking downtown, head to tailgate Sports Bar & grill where they will be serving green beer and corned beef & cabbage! Purchase any entree and you’ll receive a wristband for the block party.
Skip parking and take the bus from The Tailgate to the party downtown!

28th Annual St. Patrick’s Fun Run & Walk
March 17 @ 9:30am
If you’re looking for a fun and healthy way to celebrate St. Pattys Day, the YMCA is hosting this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Fun Run & Walk, presented by Idaho Central Credit Union. The race starts at Julia Davis park bandshell. Dressing up is encouraged but at least wear green so you don’t get pinched! All proceeds of the event will support the YMCA Team IDaho Track and Cross Country Club.

The St. Patrick’s Day tradition at Ha’Penny Bridge Pub is back! This year they will be hosting Fightin’ McGinty’s who are planned to perform from 8:30 pm to close. Enjoy green beers and Irish food favorites! Make sure you get there early as crowds start to join in on the fun as early as 4pm!
Boise’s largest bagpipe band, The Boise HIghlanders, are planning to have a variety of performances this St. Patrick’s Day! If you’re looking for something to do on March 17, check out one of their shows for a traditional Irish celebration!
