Opening in 2019, ā café just celebrated a major milestone, their first anniversary! ā café’s minimalist yet modern decor lures people in, but the coffee and food are what attract people to return.
From traditional black coffee to whipping up lattes, ā café pours it all. Sourcing their beans locally from Form and Function (located downtown on Broad Street), ā café creates a united and community feel. Aside from the delicious coffee, ā café also offers beer and wine. Although not typical for coffee shops, more and more are starting to offer alcoholic drinks. ā café has a small rotating craft beer and wine selection. Currently featuring local companies including Meriwether, Barley Brown’s, and more.
The cafe-style food is what also makes ā café an excellent option for breakfast or lunch.
Pastries, scrambled egg options, sandwiches, soups, and salads all make the list for food options at ā café. For breakfast sandwiches, The Fregg has a cage-free fried egg, white cheddar, arugula tomato on an acme brioche bun with added options available. If going for lunch, the Tenth & Main salad comes with beets, carrots, onions, cranberries & pepitas with arugula and lemon.
Due to the current pandemic, ā café has recently changed their hours, so call ahead if planning to go earlier in the day. Outdoor seating has been made available, while the inside remains closed for seating. However, one innovative option they added to the menu is curbside take out dinners Tuesdays-Friday.
