What to Plant This Fall in The Treasure Valley
It may seem counterintuitive to head from the warm, sunny days of summer into fall and start planting new plants, but fall truly is a perfect time for planting! Though plants are starting to get ready for winter, the ground is still warm and many plants can get extra root growth. Fall is the perfect time to plant trees, shrubs, bulbs, perennials, and grasses before winter or to put fresh plants in outdoor pots for a nice fall look.
Get Ready for the Holidays at Franz Witte
Whether you’re celebrating Halloween, Thanksgiving, or a winter holiday, Franz Witte Garden Center’s greenhouse and gift shop in Nampa has lots of decor options, both plant and non! For those looking to bring a bit of green indoors in the winter, you can buy holiday plants like Christmas cactus, poinsettia, anthurium, or Amaryllis. The Garden Center also has great gifts like scented candles, birdfeeders, mugs, cutting boards, and more.
