Indoor climbing is a great way to stay active at any time of the day, especially when the temperatures reach the 100s. Both kids and adults will find a program or summer special to love this season that will either introduce them to the wonderful sport of climbing or help them further their skills. Both members and non-members are invited to come find an exercise that inspires them at The Commons.

Kids Summer Camp in Boise
The Commons is excited to offer their exclusive summer kids day camps to introduce your child to the wonderful world of climbing. In class, they will experience the boulder wall and top-rope climbing through fun games and instructor-led activities that will show them the excitement of climbing. Over this summer, campers will come to class five days a week from 8 am to 12 pm. Members of the Commons can sign a child of any age up for $150 and non-members for $190.

Events at The Commons
The Commons gives back to its community in many ways. Not only are they a popular full-service climbing gym with bouldering walls, top-rope climbing walls, exercise equipment, and fitness classes, they regularly host events that bring people together.
Frequently held events include Friday Womxn Meet-Up's, their summer concerts, and movie nights featuring indie films from the climbing pros out in nature.

Become a Commons Climbing Gym Member
It pays to be a member at The Commons. You are given access to all bouldering and top-rope walls, access to exclusive members-only events, and now members can bring along one first-timer per day for free (rentals and belay class not included)..
Two-For-One Climbing Special Every Monday & Wednesday This Summer
If you're interested in becoming a member but would like to try out the space first, The Commons is running a two-for-one special before 3pm on Mondays and Wednesdays. This day pass allows you to try your hand at climbing without requiring any formal commitments. Gear rental not included.
Before attempting your first climb at The Commons, each guest must pass a belay certification. These quick lessons are to assure that you have the education and ability to handle bouldering and top-rope climbing. In 30-minutes, you'll be shown how to belay like a pro by one of The Commons' skilled teachers. Additionally, you can take classes in lead climbing, gym to crag, how to use anchors, crack technique, multi-pitch skills, or one-on-one private lessons.
