That's why when Lindsay Smith reached out to Totally Boise about her business, Organize Simply, we leaped for joy at the thought of having a more well-organized and high-functioning office.

Starting her business in Nevada, Lindsay has officially made the transition to the Treasure Valley with one goal in mind, create functional organizing systems that are maintainable and chic for families and businesses.

Totally Boise Gets Organized with Organize Simply

As Totally Boise has continued to grow, so has our equipment and office essentials cue Organize Simply. From the beginning, Lindsay made the process of organizing, well, simple. We did a quick walkthrough of the Totally Boise office where we discussed first the current functions in each space and what wasn’t working well for our team. Then we brainstormed on how each space could be better utilized for current needs and future planning.

• Office Goals: Are we planning on growing? Where do we need room to grow? etc.
• Necessary On-Hand Items: This included things like quick access to cameras and other items we use throughout the day.
• Unused Space: We talked about space that is currently not being used at its best ability or at all.

Going through these topics allowed us to have realistic organizational expectations. Lindsay gave ideas and suggestions where we then collaborated on what the next steps were - products!

Once we had a meeting with Organize Simply, the next steps were so simple. Lindsay and her team measured the space and then picked out the most functional items based on our meeting. We got to choose from narrowed down options, to which, Lindsay put in the order, pickup, and then started organizing!

While we are still in the process of organizing, you can already see a transformation in the office, Lindsay and her team have worked so hard at making our space the best it can be!

5 Simple Organization Tips from Organize Simply

#1 Focus on function. If you're always having to reach for something when completing a task, it is probably not in the ideal place. Create a home for the supplies and equipment that you use most within reach.

#2 Take everything out. When tackling an area that needs attention you have to start with a blank slate. This will allow you to rethink how you have been using the space.
