Bronco fans get excited. We’re thrilled that on Monday, July 19th, 2021, the Albertsons Stadium announced
that it will begin selling alcohol with the start of the 2021 football season.
"Our goal is to provide an elite fan experience on game day. Bronco Nation directly impacts our
student-athletes, and ultimately, the outcome of games. My hope is that today's announcement continues to
generate excitement and helps us fill the stadium." - Jeremiah Dickey, Director of Athletics at Boise State
University
Alcohol will be sold at kiosks throughout the stadium and in the Fan Zone, located in the stadium’s
northeast corner. As a part of the Broncos’ Gameday Fan Fest, a portion of the Ford Tailgate Zone on
DeChevrieux Field will also be reserved for pregame alcohol sales.
On game days, Boise State will also launch a Drink Responsibly campaign in conjunction with selling alcohol in
and around the stadium. Additionally, a clear bag policy will be implemented at Albertsons Stadium, and, as is
the case at other top venues throughout the country, re-entry will no longer be permitted.
In the announcement, Boise State did not state what kind of alcoholic beverages will be sold at the Albertsons
Stadium but said Boise State will have further updates in the weeks to come.
Boise fans sure have missed watching games in person. Season passes have quickly been selling. Boise
State also announced that single-game tickets are now on sale. The Broncos’ home opener against
UTEP is on September 10, 2021.
