If you haven’t heard of Calexico, you definitely need to. Their music mixes genres, drawing on unique sounds from jazz to country. Mostly though, their music brings to life their desert roots. With such great music, it comes as no surprise this local Tucson Indie Rock Band is a two time Grammy nominee. Nominated for Best American Roots Performance, for “Father Mountain” and Best Americana Album, for “Years to Burn”.

GROUPLOVE is a five member band featuring Hannah Hooper, Christian Zucconi, Andrew Wessen, Daniel Gleason, and Benjamin Homola. Focusing on positive vibes, GROUPLOVE continues to be a source of uplifting song lyrics and perspectives on life. This became especially evident after a recent health scare for one of the band members, Hannah. The band just released a new album called, “Healer”. We’re excited to hear it live!

If you like indie rock style music, we recommend giving her a listen (trust us, you won’t be disappointed). Michelle is very talented and creative, a jack of all trades. Not only is she a musician, but also a music video director, author and video game composer. She recently just released new music that can be found in her new indie video game.
