If you are in need of an exciting outdoor experience to start summer off right, Barre3 in the Park is the place for you. The event will be held Saturday, June 16 at Julius M. Kleiner Memorial Park in Meridian. Check-in will begin at 9:15a.m. and the free, hour class will be held from 10:00a.m. to 11:00a.m. All you need to bring is your yoga mat, water bottle, sunscreen, and all your friends!
Not sure if Barre3 is for you? Barre3, also known as B3, is a full body workout, but includes exercises that use low impact movements. With this, it will also increase strength and flexibility. There are three main steps throughout the workout that include the isometric hold, to engage your muscles, small range movements, keeping your muscles engaged while incorporating small movements, and large dynamic movement, to tone and energize your body. Count me in! Make sure to wear yogalike attire, that is comfortable and allows a full range of movements.
