Last updated February 22, 2023 by Totally Boise

Hey parents, don’t look now; summer is just around the corner! Before you know it, the kids will be out of school, and you’ll be searching for summer camps, daycare services, and activities to keep the little ones busy! Lucky for you, Boise State Summer Youth Sports Program (SYSP) has provided youth sports activities and classes to the Boise community for over 40 years.

Whether your children are showing interest in sports for the first time or are already star athletes, the SYSP has designed sessions to help children develop the skills needed to participate in various sports and physical activities.

If you have children who are between the ages of 5 and 14 years old, you’re going to want to keep reading. We have all the details on the four sessions of BSU’s developmentally appropriate and activity-driven summer camp!

Why You Need to Enroll Now

Score! We’ve found a great summer camp for your kids to stay active and have fun during their summer break. What really sets BSU’s Summer Youth Sports Program (SYSP) apart is that participants learn and experience a wide variety of sports and activities while making friends and having fun!

During your child’s two-week session, they will experience a variety of activities and sports. While some activities they will know, like soccer and basketball, others may be new or unfamiliar to them, such as ultimate frisbee, rock climbing, and pickleball. Each child will gain exposure to sports, skills, and fundamentals through developmentally appropriate instruction. Umm, can we sign up??
