Where to Start and End Your Brows

• Using a pencil, place the tool in a straight line from the front of your nostril to the front of your brow. Any hairs on the outer side of the pencil should be plucked. 

• Next, move the pencil to the outer corner of your eye, still anchoring the end of the pencil on your nostril. This is where the tail of your brow should be plucked

• For a more natural look, it’s important to be sure to leave the front of your brow filled in more than the tail of your brow. 

• Finish with a clear or tinted brow gel to keep brows primed and positioned for the day! 

How to Apply Concealer

• Move diagonal from the inner corner of the eye in a u-shape down to the top of the cheek.

• From there, buff product down the nose and up to the lash line. Do not buff past your pupil.

• Save the left or right area of your pupil for eye creams.

• Do not blend any concealer into your wrinkles as they will begin to wear away the product and make them more obvious as the day goes on. 

How to Apply Highlighter

• Apply your light, shimmer highlighter on highpoints of the face like the cheekbones, bridge of the nose, cupid's bow, or where the sun hits your face first. 

• For added effect, apply highlighter to your collar bones and the tops of your shoulders.

How to Shop Based on Your Eye Color

• Pick an eyeshadow color that either compliments or contrasts your eye color. 

• A complimentary color is one that neighbors your eye color on the color wheel. An example would be using a green eye shadow with a blue eye color.

• Contrasting eye shadow will be on the opposite side of the color wheel to your eye color. A great contrasting eye shadow for brown eyes would be an amber shade. 

Volumize Your Lashes Naturally

• Using the SkinOwl “Bounce” technique, take a fully coated wand of mascara and bounce it along the end of your lashes. Repeat this step 3 times for a fabulously lifted effect.

• This trick is great for people whose eyelashes are thin, frail, or straight and have trouble curling.
