The Perfect Summer View at The STIL

Last updated May 03, 2022 by Mariah Hebbeln

The STIL is in the business of serving up the sweeter things in life. Literally. For over five years, the Idaho-born ice cream shop has risen to local celebrity status. Using locally-sourced high-quality ingredients, the Treasure Valley has rejoiced in this frozen treat's brilliant, natural flavors.

Present-day, The STIL now has four locations, availability at most major grocery stores, and several spotlights from national publications like The Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, Sunset Magazine, Today.com, and Forbes, to name a few.

Their flavors aren't the only reason to head to your nearest STIL this summer. With four locations, each patio offers a unique and differing vibe that's got something for everybody.

Where to Find The STIL in the Treasure Valley

Downtown - 786 W Broad St, Boise

The original location where The STIL first opened its doors in 2017, the south-facing patio, is in the heart of downtown Boise. In the iconic BoDo block, this patio features several outdoor tables and chairs, along with plenty of shade and some yard games. They are the perfect spot for a scoop during lunch or after dinner at your favorite restaurant for dessert.

Harris Ranch - 3724 S Eckert Rd, Boise

The second location in the growing local company, this STIL spot shares its lobby with Lemon Tree Co. and is minutes away from the Boise River and Greenbelt. You can stop by for an after-school treat or while enjoying a walk through the developing community of the Harris Ranch area. This patio is a wonderful place to cool off under big, old trees and watch the world go by.

Boise Bench - 13 S Latah, Boise

The third ice cream shop for The STIL, this spot is tucked away in Boise Bench and is a great meeting place for family and friends who live in the area. Their most spacious patio yet, Latah has several large tables, comfortable Adirondack chairs, and two sizeable gas fire pits. While you're there, enjoy playing cornhole and frequent live music.

Indian Creek Plaza - 712 Arthur St, Caldwell

The STIL has brought its famous ice cream flavors to Caldwell in their fourth location. The central gathering place for the community has become the beautiful Indian Creek Plaza. This patio has a fantastic view of the plaza, plenty of shaded tables, and a cozy fire pit to gather around. While the live music and events are happening this summer at Indian Creek Plaza, The STIL has the best seats in the house.

The STILs Imaginative Creations

Since day one, The STIL has been out to make some of the most unique ice cream flavors available. Their selections include traditional diary options, as well as alcoholic, vegan, and gluten-free options.

One of the reasons The STIL shot to notoriety was with their creation of booze-infused ice creams and sorbets. The 21+ and over crowd can taste their favorite liquors and brews in the form of a cone, cup, or float.

Another menu item that has gained them national attention is the Ice Cream Flight. Similar to a beer flight, this offering allows you to try four STIL scoops paired with four samples the beer or wine of your choosing.

Support The STIL Online

The flavors and ingenuity of The STIL seemingly never stops, and one of the best ways to discover their upcoming flavors and events is through their various social channels. Known for hosting charitable scoop promotions, they put their money back into the community and other reputable charities.
