The 3,000 sq. ft. space is equipped with firepits, commercial-sized heaters, and a year-round covered area. In the winter, the entire backyard is suited with heavy-duty tents while maintaining its open concept.
The name Sturman's may sound familiar for being a new spot, but that's because its flagship location has been a part of the Downtown Boise community for 27 years. Purchasing downtown Sturmans Cigar Shop 12 years ago from his father, Owner Ryan Sturman wanted to create an extension of open space for people to drink, relax, and enjoy each other's company.
Hundreds of Wines & Cigars to Choose From
Aside from being the biggest patio in the Treasure Valley, Sturman's Wine & Cigar Lounge's selection of wine and cigars is arguably just as big. Being the professional cigar establishment, Sturmans Wine & Cigar Lounge stores all cigars in a humidifier room; there are easily thousands of cigars to select— ranging from $4-$45. If wine is more your pace, the lounge also has hundreds of bottled wine options to choose from along with rotating glasses.
Other offerings of Sturman's Wine & Cigar include canned cocktails (with a Sturman's spin), charcuterie plates, beer on tap, including The Sturmanator IPA, crafted exclusively from Cloud 9 Brewery.
Weekly Treasure Valley Events
In the short amount of time Sturman's Wine & Cigar Lounge has been open, they have quickly grown to be the host of weekly festivities. Throughout the week, you can find a variety of entertainment and relaxation.
Live Music with Local Musicians
Wednesday through Saturday, live music can be enjoyed on the patio. If you're lucky, you may even get the occasional popup musician that joins in on the fun as we had on a recent visit. Ryan says there is only one exception to not hosting live music, football season, specifically Boise State football.
Boise State University Games
Taking the Broncos seriously, as one should, Sturman's Wine & Cigar Lounge has five TVs throughout, making their place a go-to spot to kick back, relax, and watch the game.
Wine Tastings
A wine spot wouldn't be complete without a weekly wine tasting. Sturman's Wine & Cigar Lounge hosts a wine tasting every Thursday, leaving guests to kick off the weekend the right way.
Boise Food Trucks
