Come One, Come All! Who doesn’t love to celebrate St. Paddy’s Day and show off a little of your Irish side! Since St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner, here are some events happening around Boise, shamrocks and shenanigans for the family, kids, and yes.. you bar crawlers!

For the Family

St. Patricks Day YMCA Fun Run

Where: Julia Davis Park

When: March 14 @ 9:30 AM

Looking for an active way to start your St. Paddy's Day celebrations? The YMCA’s annual St. Paddy’s Day run along the Boise Greenbelt is back. All proceeds from the event will aid in supporting the YMCA Team Idaho Track and Cross Country Club. All runs start at Julia Davis band shell. Make sure to wear your green so you don’t get pinched, *hint* they will be looking for the top 5 best-dressed leprechauns!

St. Patty’s Day Run

Where: Schu’s Idaho Running Company

When: March 12 @ 4:30 PM-6:00 PM

Join the employees of Schu’s Running Company on Thursday for their 3 mile St. Patty’s Day Run. The run will start and finish at the store! Wear your green for the chance to win prizes, along with snacks and drinks!

Bagpipers at Kopper Kitchen

Where: Kopper Kitchen Pup & Grill

When: March 17 @ 6:00 PM -7:00 PM

Celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day by enjoying some traditional Irish fare such as corn beef and cabbage, Irish Stew, and Boxty (potato pancakes!) Most importantly, Kopper Kitchen will have Boise Highlanders Bagpipe Band come play a set to really complete the St. Patrick’s Day celebration.

Shamrock Craft Class

Where: Woodland Kids Idaho

When: March 17 @ 9:30 AM

Join Woodland Kids Idaho for a fun St. Patrick’s Craft Day where the kiddos can decorate shamrocks! This craft is good for ages 2-12! $8/per child, seats are limited so be sure to reserve a spot for your family.

For The 21 & Older Crowd

Butte in Boise

Where: Boise Centre

When: March 13 @ 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Ready for some fun? All are welcome.. well only if your 21+, BUT we are going to party like they do in Butte, home to one of the largest St. Patrick's Day celebrations in the country! There will be a buffet of amazing food and drinks along with music, dancing, and much more. You’ll get to experience the pipes and drums of the Boise Highlanders and the Highland Dancers (sounds like it’s time to put on our dancing shoes)! The first 150 people to purchase tickets get a free commemorative t-shirt!

Payette Brewing Company St. Patrick’s Day Party

Where: Payette Brewing Company

When: March 14 @ 12 PM-5 PM

Get Lucky at Payette! Calling all leprechauns! Head over to Payette Brewing Co. and join the fun with green beer, a one man accordion band, and great company! This party will be taking place the Saturday before St. Paddy’s Day, so you have a full Saturday to celebrate. Did we mention bottomless mimosas, $3 green beers and many more surprises?!

St. Patrick’s Day Friday the 13th Bar Crawl

Where: Cactus Bar

When: Friday the 13th @ 7:00 PM- 10:00 PM

Have fun celebrating with green beers, lots of cheer, spooky music, ghouls, and leprechauns. This year Cactus in downtown Boise is putting together a few different crawls for St. Patrick’s Day but they couldn’t leave Friday the 13th out! Get creeped out and prepare to have some fun. Tickets include drink tickets, goodies bags, pictures and more.

Lucky St. Patrick's Day Crawl

Where: Cactus Bar

When: March 14 @ 4:00 PM - Midnight

Start your St. Paddy’s Day celebrations at Cactus, tickets will include 2 complimentary drinks & specials, 5+ participating bars, professional photographers to get the perfect pictures of you and your friends, fun party accessories, drink specials, and most importantly a $500 costume contest!
