What’s better than an ice cold beer on a hot day and a good ball game? Nothing. That's why we are so excited to be able to cheer on our new Boise State University Baseball Team! Bronco Nation is excited about the new sports team coming to the university. Boise State is working on building its on-campus stadium, and they are shooting for their Opening Day to be in March 2021 during the Bronco’s second season. However, we don’t need to wait till 2021 to watch these ball players hit home runs and strike out our opponents. They will have their Opening Day at Memorial Stadium home of the Boise Hawks, Friday, February 28, 2020, starting off their 11-game homestand. We all want to be there to cheer them on and of course, sing our hearts out during the 7th Inning Stretch. Opening day will be a historic and exciting event for Boise State University since it's the first season since 1980 Bronco Nation will be able to cheer on our boys in blue and orange on the ball field.
In early May, the Bronco Baseball program unveiled the four uniforms they will be wearing to kick off their first season in four decades. They worked with Nike to bring a fresh look to their uniforms. The ball players will have home, away, and alternate jerseys to have three options for home and away uniforms. Their uniform colors are cream, gray, blue, and orange along with hats matching each set.
With Boise State having their own baseball team it is just another reason for Bronco Nation to get together and help lead them to victory. If you want to grab a shirt or hat to show off your BSU baseball pride, apparel is available at the Bronco Shop. Ticket prices and the schedule are available here at broncosports.com/sports/baseball along with information on the new head coach Gary Van Tol, the roster, and stats.
