A List of St. Patty’s Day Events Beginning this Weekend in Boise

It seems we’re all a little eager to celebrate the next holiday, Saint Patrick’s Day! Being that St. Patty’s is on Wednesday the 17th, many events happening around town will be going on the weekend prior, while many others will be happening the following weekend. So, here’s to a week full of celebrating St. Patrick’s Day!

Grab your green and get ready to have socially-distanced fun.

YMCA St. Patrick’s Day Virtual Run

WHERE: Virtual

WHEN: Saturday, March 13 - Thursday, March 18

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day the healthy way, with a run presented by the Treasure Valley YMCA and Idaho Central Credit Union. You can choose between two courses, the Leprechaun Loop or the 5 Mile Course. All you’ve got to do is run the race, then submit your time online.

St. Patrick’s Day at Western Collective

WHERE: Western Collective

WHEN: Saturday, March 13

What’s St. Patty’s Day without green beer, food, and fun? Western Collective, located in Garden City, is hosting a St. Patty’s Day party with food trucks, tasty green drinks, an epic scavenger hunt, and a DJ.

Hunt for the Green Key

WHERE: Downtown Boise

WHEN: Friday, March 12th at 12 PM

Join Hunt for the Key to find the hidden green key that is around downtown. Releasing the first clues at 12 PM on Friday, you will have a chance to hunt for the key that’s been hidden in Downtown Boise. Clues will be released as the day goes on.

St. Patty’s Day Celebration

WHERE: Broken Tap Tavern

WHEN: Wednesday, March 17th

Bangers and Mash, Guinness Beer, Irish Cream Coffee. Need we say more? At Broken Tap Tavern, you can get it all! Serving up all of your favorite Irish dishes and drinks, you can celebrate with a souvenir Guinness glass at the Broken Tap Tavern.

Butte in Boise - Curbside

WHEN: Wednesday, March 17th from 3 PM - 6 PM

Downtown Boise’s fan-favorite March even, Butte in Boise, will be served on the go this year. As a homage to St. Patrick’s Day, the Boise Centre serves up a delicious take-home meal featuring handmade and authentic Butte-style Irish cuisine. Meals are packaged for two people and fully prepared, served ready to eat!

Saint Patrick’s Day at Bear Island

WHERE: Bear Island Brewery

WHEN: Wednesday, March 17, 4 PM - 8 PM

Celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day the Bear Island Way with an Irish-themed food menu, live music by the Local Mcgrath-Costello Pub Band, and specialty beers. Bear Island is all-inclusive inviting kids and pups to join in on the fun as well.

Saint Patrick’s Day Skate with DJJohnnyUtah

WHEN: Wednesday, March 17th, 6 PM - 10 PM

With two Saint Patrick’s Day skate sessions, all the best music jams, and an excellent way to celebrate DJJohnnyUtah will be at Treasure Valley Skate. Word on the street is if you wear gold and green, there’s a chance you can win the costume contest and goodies!
