Did you know every week at the Jump Time Meridian location, they do a special pricing from 6 - 8pm? All ages get to jump around for 2 hours for only $14. So gather up all the kiddos and head to Jump Time for some weeknight fun! Happens every week - however, only on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. *18 years and under need a parent to sign a liability waiver in order for them to participate - you can complete online or at location.

Do you know of any kids that are interested in coding, but just don’t know where to start? Ada community library at the Victory branch location is hosting a coding class for ages 10 - 19! They will learn real-world coding techniques using the program Scratch. It’s held on Wednesday, April 11th from 6:30 to 7:45 and totally free! For any questions, contact Derek at dramos@adalib.com

Help a cause and have fun at the same time - Beers, Bands & Public Lands is going on at the Grove Plaza downtown, April 13th from 5pm - 9pm. This event is all about supporting and raising money to protect public lands and waters with beer, music, raffles and more! Lounge on Fire and Tylor and The Train Robbers will be providing the music. The need for speed is back! Saturday April 14th, it’s opening night at Meridian Speedway! Gates open at 4:00 and festivities start at 6:45. All ages welcome. You may purchase tickets online or at the gate.

Flea Markets are starting up again! Sunday, April 15th at L.A. Junk Antiques on State Street you will find a flea market with a lot of great vendors to seek items from. 9am - 3pm, all ages.

The Idaho job and career fair is taking place at the Courtyard by Marriott Boise West-Meridian location. You will find salaried, hour, commission and on your own business opportunities for you! 40 companies will be present with applications on hand. Friday the 13th is upon us! Check out the Old Pen that night and listen to the story of the arrest, trial, conviction and execution of Ernest Walratch and Troy Powell. This year is the 67th anniversary of the only double execution in Idaho history. Artifacts and special objects from this event will also be on hand. Feel free to roam the grounds while you’re there. Story tellings begin at 6pm, 7pm and last admission at 8pm with $6.50 per person.

Saturday April 13th, Zee’s Rooftop Cafe will give you a different view of the sunset while enjoying some drinks. They will be putting on an event called, “Help Put a Cork in MS”, raising money to support a cure for MS. You will find great wine, beer and food along with cork crafts and other items for sale. You can get tickets at zeechristopher.com, $20 each. This starts at 5pm and goes until 9pm.
