UPDATE: as of 10/30/20
On October 30, 2020 the long wait has ended! Costco in Meridian is now open and serving the Treasure Valley residents. For over a year now, we've been awaiting the opening of the Treasure Valley's third Costco.
This shining new storefront includes a large shopping center and a fuel center. You can find the Meridian Costco on the corner of Ten Mile Rd. and Chinden Blvd.
This project was originally set to include a WinCo in Meridian and the proposed Linder Village. While the plans remain in place, Linder Village is now being built under the name Orchard Park. Orchard Park will offer a mix of shops, gyms, entertainment venues, a new public library, and over 5 acres of park space. This multi-use space is set to open 2021.
WinCo is in the works of being built, below you can see development in the beginning stages. It will be on the corner of Linder and Chinden.

Exciting news for residents of Meridian:
Totally Boise took the image below on September 14th showing the official sign of the Costco location and pad lease options.
In 2017, Linder and Chinden were a proposed home to Costco Wholesale and Winco Foods with the plans for ‘Linder Village’. However, after petitions for the plot of land, Costco has claimed a spot just down the street at Ten Mile and Chinden.
Both projects faced backlash from neighbors. The Costco suit was thrown out in February and the Meridian City Council approved Costcos application in April. Costco is expected to be built in 2020, taking 17 acres of land and a fuel center. This will be the third Costco in the Treasure Valley.
As for the Meridian WinCo and Linder Village approval is still out for review. Hoping to have approval by October 2019, WinCo continues to intervene in the resident's petition against approval. If the Meridian WinCo is approved it will be the second in the city, making a total of 7 warehouse stores in the area.
Linder Village would include an array of retailers, restaurants and future office sites. You can view a map of the proposed Linder Village below:
