Treefort Music Fest Postponed

Last updated March 11, 2020 by Tessa Bishop

This morning Treefort Music Fest announced they will be pushing this year’s festival-filled weekend to September 23rd-27th due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

According to Treefort they’ve been “monitoring the Coronavirus” and working closely with “The City of Boise and Central District Health” which has helped shape the decision made. Treefort relies heavily on the people, community, and Treasure Valley and has decided this would be the best option for the community, far-reaching Treefort attendees, and organizations that support the festival.

For 9 years Treefort Music Fest has been dedicated to creating a community event, welcome to all. They will continue to carry on this legacy at this year’s event which will now take place September 23rd-27th in Downtown Boise. Treefort will continue selling tickets for the September edition for those who still want to attend this amazing community festival.

Treefort Music Festival Postponed

For those who won’t be available for the new date, Treefort Music Fest will be offering refunds.

The Coronavirus has had our nation on high alert over the past few weeks, this week canceling major music festivals including Coachella and Stagecoach. We urge the community to stay aware, stay safe, and take preventative steps to help fight the Coronavirus.

We’re sure the next few months will be busy for Treefort with changes, updates, and new schedules so be sure to follow along! We’ll keep you posted as news about the festival progresses.
