Idaho Horror Film Festival
3 Day Horror Film Fest
For three days experience a mix of horror, suspense, thriller, dark fantasy, sci-fi and dark comedy in Boise’s historic Egyptian Theatre. Attendees from all over the country gather to watch more than 60 short films, special programs, guests and panels. The festival also hosts fun events including the Downtown Bar Walk, Horror Poetry Slam, Flash Fiction Competition, and a Horror Trivia Night.

Kleiner Park Family Fun Halloween Trick or Trunk and Treat Bash
Kleiner Park prepares the family for Halloween with pumpkin carving, a costume contest, games, inflatables, rides, a scavenger hunt, and Trick & Trunk or Treat booths. A variety of food trucks will be on-sight including Cupbop, La Crepe Boise, Tacos el Tesorito and many more. The Trick or Trunk and Treat Bash is your one-stop spot for all Halloween traditions.
The Haunted Halls of Atlantis Labs
For the month of October, the Atlantis Labs turn into the Haunted Halls as a once prestigious scientific facility transforms into a fright fest. The barrier between the past and present will weaken and the victims who perished within will hijack this doomed facility!
Friday & Saturday nights
6pm - 8pm “The Thinning Veil”: A tour through the Haunted Halls with chilling effects and a creepy transformation, recommended for younger visitors
8pm - Midnight “The Haunted Halls”: A scavenger hunt riddled with live action thrills and frights designed to distract you from your goal of escaping.
Storyfort Presents: Scaryfort
An evening of chilling tales and ghostly tunes is calling your name! Scary stories will be read, a costume contest will be held and awesome bands will all be playing. You won’t want to miss the third annual Scaryfort.
Fright Night Silent Disco
Celebrate Halloween with JUMP and Kaleidisco at the Fright Night Silent Disco! Throw on your scariest costume and dance the night away to the haunting sounds of local DJ’s.
Scarecrows will be peeping out around trees and shrubs through the Idaho Botanical Gardens during the month of October. Guests can enjoy the gardens while voting for their favorite scarecrow.
YMCA Halloween Run
All eyes are on you at the YMCA Halloween Run. Choose between the Monster Mile or the 5k course and run (for your life) on the Boise Greenbelt. Wear your costumes and prepare to race. Glowsticks, spooktacular t-shirts, wicked costumes and neon clothing are essential to this fun run.
