Picture this. You’re heading out with your family, or on a special date, or with some co-workers. Choosing where to eat is causing a delay in your plans and it gets harder to come to a consensus with each passing minute. Maybe your son is feeling picky today and is exclusively eating cheese quesadilla’s, dad knows he wants a nice local brew with dinner, you and your date are craving two different types of cuisine, or your co-workers live all across the valley and you need an easy to park, close to the freeway location. CHOW is all of these things! Located in the Boise Spectrum on the corner of Cole and Overland and directly accessible from I-84 or the city connector.
The CHOW Mission
CHOW’s sole focus is to create the perfect gathering space for anyone while making that space as local as possible. The restaurants are owned and operated by fellow Idahoans. The retail has collected pieces from local artists and craftsmen to further boost the communities awareness of their work. And the biggest draw, the full-circle bar located directly in the middle of the CHOW space, is their bar serving locally made craft beer and wine.

What To Do At CHOW
Anyone and everyone is welcome at CHOW. There is something for everyone, young children to older adults alike.
Paint - Oftentimes you can catch a creative Paint n’ Sip class held by Jennifer. Together, she coaches you through classes on how to paint your pet, iconic Boise landscapes, and other loved home decor pieces painted by yourself. Guests can book a group class or pop in for a public session at CHOW. Students enjoy an energetic, laid-back art experience with other students. It’s identical to a Bob Ross painting workshop (without any of the betrayal of course). Students can choose classes to paint with either acrylics or watercolor paints.
Catch a Movie - Located in the same block as the Boise Spectrum Center with Edwards Theatre, CHOW is a great place to grab a bite or a drink before your showing starts. No more than 50 feet from one another, you won’t have to stress about hitting traffic after a dinner reservation or needing to shell out more than a pretty penny for a bucket of popcorn. You can show up before the movie starts and take your pick of cuisine from any one of their restaurants.
Thursday Night Thunder - During the summer months in the Spectrum Center, the Thursday Night Thunder free music series is held for all of Boise to come and enjoy. Once a week for eight weeks you can catch live music. When you’re ready to get a drink or a bite you can stop by CHOW to get out of the crowd but keep the ambiance.
Quality Dining For Treasure Valley Visitors
If you have traveled to Boise and find yourself staying at one of the many hotels in the Cole-Overland intersection area, CHOW is an affordable option to try some delicious local dishes without needing to call an Uber. A short walk during any time of the year, you will find something to love for yourself, the whole family, or the whole team!
You can catch the Totally Boise team hanging out, getting a bite, or enjoying a drink with loved ones at CHOW often! Their incredible space welcomes us for all the different occasions we have and we proudly recommend them to you for your next date or family night.
