Last updated June 22, 2020 by Tessa Bishop

“Eagle is Strong” this year’s theme for the upcoming July Eagle Art Walk and Eagle Chalk Art event. The Eagle Arts Commission (EAC) has teamed up with Finer Frames to sponsor amateur, professional and student artists the opportunity to create vivid chalk art at the July Eagle Art Walk.

There will be two levels for artists: Master Level for those 18 years and older and the Youth Challenge for artists under 18 years old, teams are welcome to enter both! The art will be judged by Eagle Art Walk visitors, top artists will win based off People’s Choice voting. The top three artists in each category have the chance to win prize money.

Looking to enter and join in on the fun? Artists must submit a sketch of their proposed artwork by July 12 to be judged by the EAC staff and selection panel. Enter here:

This event happens on the final Thursdays of June, July and August. Considering the importance of social distancing, this year's Eagle Art Walk will strictly enforce social distancing rules.
