2. Idaho Steelheads Game
Boise doesn’t take hockey season lightly! Supporting Boise’s local hockey team is necessary if you’re a Boise local. Steelheads games are typically played on Fridays and Saturdays in the downtown Boise CenturyLink arena. Going to an Idaho Steelheads game is the perfect family outing, guys’ night, girls’ night, or date night.

3. Attend a Boise Show at one of the Local Theaters
Between the Morrison Center, the Boise Philharmonic, and Boise Class Movies at the Egyptian Theatre you’ve got options. Celebrate the holidays by attending a holiday-themed show inside the warmth of a beautiful theater.
4. Explore the Idaho State Capitol
If you’ve been inside the Idaho Capitol Building, you’ve probably been left in awe of the beauty. What better way to spend an afternoon indoors than exploring 50,000 square feet of marble and learning about the history of this amazing city? Take this experience to the next level and explore other Boise landmarks, including the Boise Train Depot and the Old Idaho Penitentiary.
5. Cheer on the Broncos

Missing the Boise Farmers Market? Don’t fret! They move indoors in the winter and continue the Saturday tradition of shopping locally. Vendors continue carrying fruits, veggies, jams, bread, pastries, art, photography, and so much more! Plus, strolling the Saturday market is the perfect time to pick up last-minute gifts and goodies.
