Tupelo Honey, based out of North Carolina, has set their sights on Boise and we’d say we’re pretty lucky. We were invited to check out this Southern kitchen and bar and we’re already itching to go back! Exciting news: As of Tuesday, November 12, Tupelo Honey is now open!
Tupelo Honey has plans to open 14 locations over the next 14 months, luckily for us, Boise is one of these places. Throughout the rapid growth and success of venturing into new markets, Tupelo Honey strives to stay true to its roots of Southern hospitality, responsible sourcing, and chef-driven menus. Tupelo Honey is bringing Boise a modern restaurant with a Southern twist, taking the location that was previously home to downtowns Piper Pub.
Over the past few months, Tupelo Honey's team has been connecting with local Boise businesses to partner as local vendors. These include:
- Double R Ranch American Wagyu
- Acme Bakeshop brioche and rustic sourdough bread
- Clear Spring Foods trout fillets
- Fresca tortillas
- 44 North vodka
- Coiled Wines
- Telaya Wine Co.
- Payette Brewing Company
- Sockeye Brewing
- Mother Earth Brewing Co
- Barbarian Brewing
Tupelo Honey is dedicated to creating a menu special for Boise- utilizing all of Boise’s best local resources. The team has worked hard to bring Southern food that Boiseians will love.
