Tamarack Resort is Idaho's premier four-season mountain destination, tucked in Donnelly on the shores of Lake Cascade, just south of McCall and about two hours north of Boise. It's known as America's only ski, golf, and lake resort, bringing together mountain, water, and village life in one place. At the base of the mountain sits a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly village where you can stay right in the heart of it all, from the refined Lodge at Osprey Meadows to private homes and slope-side residences. The resort has a full-service spa, fitness center, and outdoor pool, along with a range of dining that spans elevated seasonal cuisine at The Reserve, casual bites at Seven Devils Taphouse, and alpine dining at Mid Mountain Lodge, perched at 6,700 feet with sweeping views. What sets Tamarack apart is how effortlessly it moves between seasons. In winter, it's 1,610 acres of skiable terrain and 2,800 vertical feet, plus Nordic trails, snowshoeing, and more. Come warmer months, that same mountain opens up to 41-plus miles of lift-served biking trails, hiking, and the award-winning Osprey Meadows golf course, while Lake Cascade and the resort's new marina bring boating, paddleboarding, and wake surfing into the mix.
