Perhaps the most iconic hike in Boise, this trail starts behind the Old Idaho Penitentiary and climbs steadily to a plateau marked by a massive illuminated cross. It offers the best panoramic views of the entire Treasure Valley and the Boise skyline, especially at sunset.
