Boise Contemporary Theater
The Boise art scene is always growing, partly thanks to the Boise Contemporary Theater (BCT). Established in 1997, BCT stands as the only nonprofit professional theater within a 300-mile radius. Dedicated to producing challenging new plays, its mission is to inspire our community to examine our perspectives and better understand ourselves, each other, and the world around us by creating thought-provoking stories of the human experience. The organization's educational program also engages over 2,000 students, and it is continuously expanding outreach efforts to underserved schools. This fall, BCT has two incredible shows lined up: the world premiere of Middle of the World by Juan José Alfonso and The Thanksgiving Play by Larissa FastHorse. Be sure to snag some tickets. We’ll save you a seat!
