ABOUT
About Art Source Gallery.
Art Source Gallery has been one of Boise's longest-running art galleries since 1993, when a group of local artists founded it to make exceptional art accessible to everyone. Still artist-owned today, the gallery showcases more than 40 artists, many of them national and regional award winners, working across oil, watercolor and acrylic painting, sculpture in wood, brass and metal, pottery, photography, glass, mixed media, and handcrafted jewelry. The collection ranges from gentle traditional landscapes to bold modern abstracts, much of it inspired by Idaho's communities, scenery and culture. Displays rotate monthly, so there's always something new to discover, and First Thursday receptions bring wine, live music and refreshments to the gallery each month. Tucked into Boise's Linen District near restaurants, breweries and coffee shops, Art Source Gallery is the place to find a piece that turns your home or business into an oasis of creativity. This October, don't miss watercolorist Shelly Johnson's exhibition, "Urban Flower Series: Beauty in Unexpected Places," on display alongside new work from the gallery's 40+ local artists.
