There have been 11,750 COVID-19 cases in Ada County, with 138 deaths (as of September 10, 2020). As positive cases continue to rise, it has left a lot of uncertainty about how communities will continue functioning.
If the pandemic has taught the Boise community one thing, through unity, we can get through anything. During COVID-19, the community has shined in coming together to support local businesses, neighbors, and friends.
Seeing the outpour of compassion in the Boise community, Broadway in Boise organized the “Nominate A Star” contest. Broadway in Boise holds some of the most beloved classics. Cats, Anastasia, Hamilton, and more are shows set to showcase next year at Morrison Center For The Performing Arts.

What is Nominate A Star?
The Nominate A Star Contest is easy; simply follow the link below to nominate someone local you feel has gone above and beyond this year during the Coronavirus hardship. Broadway in Boise will select five winners in the Treasure Valley to receive a pair of tickets to an upcoming Broadway show when Morrison Center For The Performing Arts reopens.
Who Should I nominate?
Nurses, delivery drivers, teachers, and many others have all been at the forefront during the pandemic. This could be a friend, family member, or even a neighbor that you have seen excel and work hard to keep the Treasure Valley community amazing.
As many uncertainties surround the pandemic about returning to what is considered a “normal” routine, one thing is for sure, when Morrison Center reopens, they want all those who have gone above and beyond in their communities to have an incredible experience they deserve.
Thank someone in your community by nominating them by Friday, September 25th at 3 p.m.
