Dr. Portela along with Mariya Ostermiller, a Board Certified Physician Assistant with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), promptly became patient favorites. Due to high demand in the Boise area, TVD opened a second location in Boise in early 2020. Located centrally on Emerald and Curtis, Treasure Valley Dermatology has made it even easier for patients in Boise to visit their clinic. They’ve also added another Physician Assistant, Jacob Tebbs who started in August 2020.

In early 2020, Dr. Portela released an exclusive skincare line called 208SkinDoc. Products developed by Dr. Portela range from daily sunscreen to luxurious but inexpensive anti-aging serums. Currently, you can purchase the 208SkinDoc skincare line at their Boise or Meridian locations, and in the near future, they will be available online.
