Trader Joes has 30 locations across the western United States including California, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Nevada and now 2 in Idaho with 492+ total locations nationwide!
Trader Joes was started as a small grocery chain in Southern California in 1967 by Joe Coulombe with its first private label Trader Joe’s product released in 1972; granola.
Trader Joes touts that with their private label products, it simplified the process and removed a lot of extra costs which resulted in overall savings they pass down to their customers.
We did a little snooping one night and were able to bring you a few ‘inside peeks’ of the new store. As it turns out, it looks pretty similar to the Downtown Boise location.
